Fish Bianco, Corfiot!
Traditional dish from Corfu, fish in white sauce. An alternate suggestion for cooking fish!
Ingredients
- Slices fish (red snapper, grouper, or something relevant. You can also make it using desalted cod)
- slices Potatoes in
- 4-5 cloves garlic
- 1/2 cup oil
- Salt, white pepper, oregano, ground rosemary
- Juice of two lemons
Steps
- Sauté the potatoes in the oil, adding the garlic, oregano, rosemary, salt and pepper. Add hot water, as much as is needed to cover the potatoes and then add the fish.
- Let it boil until it has a little juice left and then add the lemon juice. Leave it for a while so that the sauce thickens and serve with white wine.
